Growing up, my father owned a restaurant, and after he passed away, it was handed down to me. It was profitable when I was a child, but over the years, it became less profitable. After I began running it, I was determined to make it profitable again, so I could rely on its income for my retirement. However, I struggled with it for a year without seeing any increase in revenue. One day a business consultant stopped to dine in and offered me a card. I decided to give them a call to see if they could help my situation. That was the best phone call I ever made, and they found problems that had persisted in the business for years that my father and I had gone "blind" to. I want to share that story with other business owners who are struggling and plan to post more tips!
